Stourport’s Chloe Mogg and her band thrilled the Copper Beech Brewery & Taproom crowds with her set at the Worcester Music Festival 2025.

The band line up was Chloe Mogg (vocals & rhythm guitar), Ethan Webster (lead guitar), Joe Davies (bass) & Nick Davies (drums) which had also wowed the Upton Blues Festival 2025 crowds earlier in the summer.

The band plays in the blues rock genre with vocals from Chloe influenced by late 60s/early 70s vocalists such as Janis Joplin & Robert Plant, supported by great lead guitar work from Ethan Webster. Her first album ‘The Crazy One’ had brought her to the attention of the blues rock fans, with her strong connection to the influential Birmingham band Blue Nation.

The set included their original songs and kicked off with a new song ‘Thumper’ which is a heavy blues rock song with strong vocals from Chloe and great slide guitar work from Ethan.

The band will shortly be getting into the studio to record several of the songs from this set along with other new numbers.

The next song ‘Our Character Development’ showcased Chloe’s alternative singing style backed with her solid rhythm section.

Another song destined for the as yet unnamed second album was ‘Spoon Fed’ with lots of great slide guitar from Ethan and great reverb vocals from Chloe while she got into the moment tossing her long hair all over the place in her trademark style.

From her original album ‘The Crazy One’ the band gave us ‘Bryony’ which was written by Chloe aged 19 and was about a teddy bear influenced by Frank Zappa with a great lead guitar break from Ethan.

A very recently written song by Chloe and her partner James was ‘Façade’ with great dual guitars, echoey vocals and great backing on drums and bass.

With great support from some of her fans who had made the journey from Stourport we had another new song with ‘The Best Thing’ about an evil ex best friend with dual guitars and heavy funky rhythm section, with very Janis Joplin style vocals and more great slide guitar from Ethan.

Next, we had a song about people who annoy Chloe with ‘Pay Me’ with funky bass and guitar breaks to start and powerful vocals and solid blues rock sound.

She finished her set with another track from her debut album with ‘Better Off’ which Chloe encouraged the crowds to join in with while Chloe showed her great singing range backed by her band.

For an encore the band played the Led Zeppelin song ‘Heartbreaker’ with Ethan kicking off with the guitar break, more Chloe hair twirling whilst she gave a great vocal version in the style of Robert Plant, with Ethan again showing his great lead guitar breaks backed by Joe on bass and energetic drumming from Nick.
